Rattle Box
The performer puts a borrowed and marked coin into a small wooden box.
Then box is wrapped in a handkerchief, and asked to a spectator to hold. The spectator can hear his coin rattling inside the box, which is proving the coin is still there. With a snap of his fingers, performer causes the coin to vanish. When the spectator shakes the box, it is clearly empty. when He opens the box, the coin is gone. The same marked coin is now found inside a wool ball, or a locked nox, which has not been touched by the performer after the coin vanished.
A classic item, made completely in wood, and ideal for close up.
Gospel Presentation Ideas :
- Great fun for Weddings - where has the bride's ring gone?
- Illustrate the parable of the Lost Coin
- Great for Easter - The box is empty - just as the tomb was empty
- Make black buttons disappear from the box - showing God's forgiveness
